Love’s Labour’s Lost

Andrea is Music Associate for Love’s Labour’s Lost at Shakespeare in the Park this summer. This new musical adaptation by Michael Friedman and Alex Timbers is the first new Shakespeare-based musical in the Park since Two Gentlemen of Verona in 1971. The production runs July 23-August 18 at the Delacorte Theater. More information is available here.

Andrea is Music Associate for Venice, a new musical running May 28-June 23 at Public Lab at The Public Theater. Portraits

Andrea served as Music Director Prospect Theater Company’s 2013 Musical Theater Lab, titled Portraits. The production was directed by Dev Bondarin and featured eight new short musicals by young or emerging writers, all based on or inspired by portraits. Portraits ran for six performances from February 22-March 2 at the West End Theatre at 263 W. 86th St.

Sunday in the Park with George

Gypsy of the Year

Andrea will be performing with the cast of Rebecca at the 2012 Gypsy of the Year competition. She will be accompanying cast members from an onstage grand piano at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Performances are Monday, December 3 at 4:30 pm and Tuesday, December 4 at 2 pm.

Misery

Andrea will be assisting Michael Friedman with music for the new stage adaptation of Stephen King’s Misery, penned by Oscar-winning screenwriter William Goldman. Misery runs November 24-December 8 at the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.

Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Andrea recently finished a Master’s course in Musical Theatre Musical Directing at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, formerly the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. This one-year intensive program admitted only five students from around the world and culminated in three productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

College Light Opera Company

Andrea spent the summer of 2011 in Falmouth, MA as Associate Conductor of the College Light Opera Company. Collaborating with another Associate Conductor, professional Principal Conductors, two accompanists, an orchestra of 18, and a vocal company of 32, she helped stage ten full-scale productions in ten weeks. She conducted the matinee performances of The Pirates of Penzance, Sweeney Todd, The Vagabond King, Wonderful Town, and Oklahoma!
